I have not started going through all my ADAM equipment yet. But I have had some requests in the past to start to restart distributing my Coleco ADAM Public Domain software again. Here is my old Public Domain Software List. If you are interested please contact me at fmhcentral@gmail.com and let me know what you are interested in. If I get enough requests I’ll set up my ADAM and start making blank Digital Data Tapes again for the Public Domain Software. Also depending on the number of requests I may while sorting through my items add more to the list.
UPDATE
I have received enough requests that I plan on starting to produce Public Domain DDPs and Disks again sometime this Fall/Winter. The software is free. You only pay for the copying, postage, and any printed documentation. The cost of each 160K disk is $4.00 or datapack is $6.00 which includes shipping. Most volumes have either some kind of documentation either on the Tape/Disk. To our knowledge all programs are public domain, if found otherwise they will be removed from our list.
ENTERTAINMENT VOLUMES
E001 - Super Cobra : a helicopter arcade game in which you
destroy enemy ground installations. Comes With
Smartwriter doc file.
E002 - M.A.S.H. : two arcade sequences pick-up wounded
soldiers and remove shrapnel in the operating room.
E003 - Temple of Apshai Rev. 2 : Epyx supergame which was
never released. This is a role playing adventure
with graphics. Disk and DDP not compatible. Comes
with instruction sheet.
E004 - Artillery Dual/Tomarc the Barbarian : Bomb your
opponents artillery position before he bombs yours.
Save your girlfriend from an evil caveman.
E005 - Jeopardy : Coleco supergame of the popular game
show. Multi player capability and hall of fame. Can
purchase commercial software to write your own
questions or use other question packs.
E006 - Super Subroc : Coleco supergame of Subroc. 3D
arcade action with hall of fame.
E007 - Cabbage Patch Kids Adv. in the Park : Enhanced
version of Coleco's cartridge.
E008 - Trolls Tale : Coleco supergame. Childrens
adventure game with good graphics. Challenging yet
very entertaining.
E009 - Super Front Line Demo : A Coleco In-House Demo
of the unfinished supergame. Program is auto-booting
and runs through two very detailed screens.
E010 - Super Dam Busters : Supergame of cartridge
version with hall of fame. This is the only flight
simulator for ADAM. You try to bomb Nazi dams during
WWII. Disk and DDP not compatible.
E011 - Super Buck Rodgers : Supergame that came with
the ADAM computer. This is offered as a replacement
incase original was damaged DDP only.
E012 - Galaxian/Super Controller Test : Atari's aracde
favorite. Test your Super Controllers to make sure
all keys and controls are working properly. Also
works with regular controllers.
E013 - A-Chess (Sargon) : Great graphic chess game. Comes
with doc files and is autoloading.
E014 - Chess Solitaire : Graphic version of chess game where
you guess the moves of masters. Also Knights Tour
Game.
E015 - Colossal Cave : A large CP/M text adventure game.
Comes with CHOP.COM for 32 Col display. Program
is Smart Key driven.
E016 - 5-Screen Donkey Kong Jr. : Coleco's in house version
of Super Donkey Kong Jr. with 5th level, Mario's
Bakery. Arcade version does not even have this level.
E017 - ADAM DEMO/Word Feud/It's Only Rock N Roll : ADAM DEMO
is the same program that dealers were running to demo
the Adam's capabilities. Word Feud is a one or two
player game where you try to find words on a screen
of letters. It's Only Rock N Roll you play a musician
in search of fame and fortune.
GRAPHICS VOLUMES
G001 - NIAD #1 RLE Pics : RLE pictures that can be viewed in
SmartBasic V1.0 with included program or can be loaded
into Powerpaint to be altered or printed. Smartwriter
doc included.
G002 - NIAD #2 RLE Pics : RLE pictures that can be viewed in
SmartBasic V1.0 with included program or can be loaded
into Powerpaint to be altered or printed. Smartwriter
doc included.
G003 - HiRes Pictures : Includes three excellent utilities.
A print program, a viewer, and a counter to see how
long the print out will be. Recommended SmartBasic
V2.0 to work properly.
G004 - Coleco Graphics Processor : Coleco's graphic design
utility used to create the graphics for game
cartridges and supergames. Has Smartwriter Doc files.
64K memory expander required.
G005 - C.G.P. Pictures #1 : Picture files for use with Coleco
Graphics Processor. All pictures were taken directly
from Coleco game screens.
CP/M VOLUMES
C001 - PL/I Disk #1 : Programming language, a full
disk.
C002 - PL/I Disk #2 : Goes with disk C001 includes some
examples.
C003 - Tiny Basic : A 3K Basic for CP/M with doc and
examples.
C004 - NIAD #1 : Loaded with utilities. Unsqueeze and
squeeze members. New 'DIR' command. Modem7 and many
more.
C005 - NIAD #8 : DELIB.COM unsqueezes compressed libraries.
C Programming Libraries with examples and more.
C006 - NIAD #15 : COBOL Library everything one would need to
program in COBOL. Castle Library a large text
adventure in basic with doc. Othello and more.
C007 - NIAD # 19 : ADAMDIR Library an Adam source directory.
Checkbk Library used to balance check book.
Black Jack and Guessit games more.
MISCELLANEOUS VOLUMES
M001 - SmartBasic V1.0 : This is the SmartBasic that came
with the ADAM Computer. Offered in case your original
is damaged available corrected for disk owners.
M002 - SmartBasic V2.0 : Coleco's enhanced version of V1.0
with memory expander access. This is not fully
compatible with V1.0. Contains SmartWriter Doc File.
M003 - EOS Disk Manager : Coleco utility program that was
supplied with the 160K 5 1/4" Coleco Disk Drive.
M004 - Music Demo : This is a CP/M copied program. You do
not need CP/M to run this. This program plays
songs and special effects from various Coleco game
cartridges some of which were never released.
M005 - Coleco Checklist : A SmartWriter doc files shows
commercial software and games Coleco and other
companies released. Tells what is Public Domain and
what is not.
M006 - ADAM Link I : Telecommunications software that
originally came with ADAM Link Modem.
M007 - ADAM Link II : Telecommunications software that will
allow you to upload and download ASCII files.
M008 -Coleco Presents Software : Coleco's self-booting
database program that contains a list of planned
Coleco software and cartridges for the ADAM and
Colecovision. DDP only.
M009 - Coleco's Personal CP/M and SimpleCalc : Coleco's in
house CP/M. Does not work properly so it is for
collectors and hackers. Contains SimpleCalc COM, HLP,
and OVL files. With some poking around with the
overlay file you may get it to work.
M010 - One Minute Formatter : Format 5 1/4" diskettes on one
or two drives simultaneously. Works with both 160K
320K drives.
M011 - ADAM Diagnostics : Tests components of the ADAM
computer to see if they are working properly. 64K
memory expander required. DDP only.
M012 - DDP Speed Test V1.0 : Test Speed of DDP drive to
assure best read/write performance. Best results
if purchased on disk a transfered to DDP.
M013 - Coleco Cartridge Copy/Tunnel and Trolls Demo :
Coleco's in house cartridge copy utility. Also part
of program is a backup utility. Copied by this
program never released Tunnels and Trolls two screen
demo.
BASIC VOLUMES
B001 - NIAD Basic Utilities #1 : Volume full of useful
